The reality TV star has had 293 days to move on, and move on she has. She even found a new man! While her divorce is still tied up in court, check out seven reasons why the former Mrs. Kris Humphries is better off today.
1. She Found Love with Kanye West
Let's face it, the best thing about breaking up is rebounding! And Kardashian didn't rebound with just anybody, she went and bagged Kanye West. About five months after filing for divorce, the reality TV star and rapper made their public debut. By mid-May, they had surfaced together at a Laker's game, restaurant opening, and more. Now, they've proved the relationship is more than a rebound or publicity stunt, it's real love! "It's your heart you're playing with," she said. "I couldn't sacrifice my heart for a publicity stunt."
2. Rappers Write Songs and Design Shoes, Basketball Players Don't
Turns out Kanye West isn't just good for Ms. Kardashian's heart. He's immortalized her in song
— twice! In fact, West simultaneously confirmed his relationship with the reality star and dissed her ex in the same tune. "And I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim/ ‘Round the same time she had fell in love wit’ him/ Well, that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thing/ Lucky I ain’t have Jay drop ‘im from the team" he sang in "Theraflu." He followed up with a love song for her, titled "Perfect B***."
While Humphries could have dedicated all of his 3-pointers to his wifey, Mr. West has him beat again in the wardrobe category. The rapper doubles as a personal stylist for his gal and they often go out in matching ensembles, even to get frozen yogurt. Now, they're reportedly in talks to start a joint high-end shoe line! What would Kardashian and Humphries design? Basketballs? Pfft.
3. It was Too Hard Having Two People Named Kris in the Family
Some serious Kardashian khaos ensued anytime Kris Humphries and Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, came up in conversation. Plus, who wants to be married to a guy who has the same name as your mom for longer than 72 days? "Kanye" totally fits the family's "K" theme and in no way could remind her of her mother every time she says his name.
4. She's More Like Elizabeth Taylor Now

Kardashian only has five husbands to go. And she has a much larger jewelry collection now. The reality queen arranged to keep her $2 million engagement ring in her pre-nup and also forked over $65,000 for three of Taylor's bracelets at auction in late 2011.
5. Kanye is Much Richer than Kris
Kim Kardashian
needs a breadwinner. Even though Humphries got a raise this
year (he reportedly signed a $24 million deal for two years with the Brooklyn Nets), his fortune is nothing compared to Mr. West's. The rapper is estimated to be worth something to the tune of $90 million! That number makes Kardashian's estimated $35 million seem low. Kardashian's guaranteed a continued life of fast cars, expensive shoes, and yachts. Not to mention: Rappers have much more time off than basketball stars to enjoy those luxuries.
6. She Doesn't Have to Move to the Midwest

One of the biggest issues in Kardashian and Humphries' relationship was deciding where to settle down. The NBA star was determined to move his wife to his Minnesota hometown to start a family, while the reality star pretty much wanted nothing to do with Midwest living. "I live in a different world," Kardashian said to Humphries in a televised talk. "I was definitely raised in a different world than like — yeehaw! — Minnesota. And that's fine."
Now that she's dating an L.A.-based, filthy rich world traveler (see reason No. 6), she'll never have to leave her high heels home again.
7. She Doesn't Have to Worry About Chronic Neck Strain
Kris Humphries stands at an impressive 6-feet, 9-inches. Kim Kardashian is 5-foot-3 on a good day. With some serious heels she might have been able to come up to her ex-husband's shoulders. So what, right? Well, this severe height difference actually presented some issues.
First of all, it was almost impossible to capture their heads in the same photo frame on the red carpet. What kind of reality TV star can afford to have her husband's noggin cropped out of their pictures?
The petite star undoubtedly suffered neck strain when trying to kiss her man in pictures to make up for the first problem. Years and years of this would likely have presented some serious neck issues, right? So, really, Kanye West, becomes an even more perfect man at 5-feet, 10-inches.
